Is it really a problem?

Something is bothering me. It's been spanning over years now. People always tell me to smile. If they are not telling me that I should smile more they remark how good it is to see me smiling.

WHY?!

Do I have a permanent sullen expression plastered across my face? I know a lot of you can't answer me, because you don't actually have to put up with me

way i see it: people like your smile. i know i do. you look so blasted happy and cute and such... and the things that make you REALLY smile, that bright gleeful almost squeeing type, are few and far between, so when you do, it's sorta a rarity.

From our stint in Adelaide I remember you smiling a lot. But then, we were in good company... so circumstances weren't exactly the normalest (it's a word!).

I always get told I need to smile more, and it kinda bugs me, mostly because I despise my teeth, lol.

In conclusion, I don't actually know what to say, lol. I think people just like to see a smile once in a while. And the best part -- smiles don't cost anything to perform and can be understood in every universal language and culture.

You know... I don't like smiling with my teeth either. So I stopped, and now I smile closed mouthed all the time. Ahh forcing habits onto oneself can be wonderful ^___^

Wouldn't it be great if smiling were the currency of the world. Hmmmm...
