Joy Ding, you make me sing,
They tell me love don't cost a thing,
Yet for you, I'd pay a mint,
But with such sweet breath, what would you do with it?

Hahaha--let's pretend rhythm doesn't exist and that that's iambic pentameter!

Bleh--

Love, given refuge,
In another’s arms
Cannot adequately
Allay the charms
Of Passion’s face,
Eyes, and personage.

My stab at a poem:

Joy is always late to CompSci,
And then plays Minsweeper all class long,
No wonder she barely gets by,
Although she is usually never wrong.

Okay...it sucks. If I had time I'd devote more than the minute & thirty seconds I devoted to this poem.

if something's imperfect she'll throw a fit!
good thing oksana gets straight a's
and never below three digit grades.

once upon an orchestra class
i was in a quartet with joy
john didn't get my music, that ass!
and when we performed i said "Oy".

that was worse than oksana's; i shall now go and bang my head on a wall somewhere. :)
