So I can't draw to save my life, as I believe I've mentioned before. But occasionally the inspiration hits me to try regardless. And so I've been drawing, today, using a pic of Aaron as reference. I think there's nothing wrong with using an existing picture to reference for a drawing. Obviously if there are copyright issues, it shouldn't be, uh, publicized. But it is good practice for proportion and looking at the way space is used. I do it all the time, especially when I need inspiration. Anything that YOU draw is YOURS. So, keep drawing :D
One other little thing - when you draw someone you're familiar with, like a celebrity, you see them in a different light than you see an average person you might be drawing. Sometimes it's easy to exaggerate certain facial features you know are there, but they're not actually the way you think they are. Think about that one, and you'll be surprised how a drawing can improve :D
