got 2 beers settling in my system, feeling good, feeling wordy, feeling like i should wax poetic on some existential subject, & as requested by my dear friend randellwolff the topic tonight is "knowing what i want" and so here we go... ah, yes... i did the math- you were about 33- i've heard that's a very difficult year, astrologically- 'the jesus year' we call it in these parts... has to do with saturn's return to your birth sign... things either fall apart, or come together- or both, in that order. i'm entering it now at 29.

I totally agree. It's getting yourself to believe it that's key. I've know people to say they believe this then they go off spouting the terrible things they expect. You have to know this concept and own it. Very impressive. You may have seen the documentary/film "What the Bleep Do We Know" if not I'd suggest it. More goodness than crap in it, though there are helpings of both.

yes, excellent film! & i was no stranger to the concept by the time the movie came out- had read 'the tao of physics' 'the life we are given' the 'celestine prophecy' series and several other books on the topic...

but i think i've only recently internalized it all & really started living it. & sometimes i still lapse into the acid-tongue of bitterness especially after i've had my little heart broken... ;p
