Karla staggered out of her room and into the hall. "Layla?" she asked, seeing the other girl leaning against the door. "Are you okay? Did you...feel it, too?"

"I-"

She frowned.

"I don't know what it was."

And that seemed to bother her the most.

"May I come in?" Karla asked, a little hesitantly. "I--wove something. And I can't understand it. And people have said that you...well, that you know stuff. I was thinking maybe you might be able to look and see something?" Her hands her fiddling with the bottom hem of her shirt and her knucles were white.

Layla nodded quietly. "You can. But I... I don't know what's happening," she replied. "Things aren't making sense."

George looked up as she came in then frowned, jumping up to be ready just in case. "Are ye alright, Layla?"

Layla paused for a second before replying. She made her way to her bed and sat down.

"I don't know," she said softly.

Which weird for a lass who claimed t'know stuff.

"Shall I find a healer for you?" He asked, looking worried because she didn't so much look right.
