Well, I was going to get him to the cabin even if it took a cooking emergency to do so.. LOL!!

But then I remembered him in carpentry gear helping fix Nora's new house. (the house for her non profit) Yes, lets put that little skill to some use!

Thanks for your comments,

All roads lead to Scotty :)

I really loved this story, so sweet, filled with hope, disappointment and lust.

Now I want to rewatch Kevin and Scotty in Season 2 - it reminds me of that time as well - Kevin being in that type of a relationship where he deserves better.

...I guess I'm pretty predictable. And you know I've tried to pair Kevin with other people (for the whole story) and can't seem to do it. It was easier to kill him off than write about him with someone else. One day I'll shock all of you and give him a new bff!

Glad you liked it, and thanks for commenting.

I'd like to spend the weekend in the log cabin too...but can I have the guys thrown in as well?!

Sometimes you just want to strangle Kevin; he's so tough when it comes to work but useless when it comes to laying down the law in relationships. Though not a friend of Sarah's, I'm glad she didn't once tell Kevin to stop whining but instead put a plan into action and gave him what he really wanted.

Another great story. Thanks for writing :)

Only if I can go too!!! :)

The intervening requisite family member? Well, for me it had to be one of the sisters. I picked Sarah because she seemed more likely to trouble herself over getting to know Scotty and played match maker with them in the first place. If I'd of gone with Kitty, Kevin would be rolling around in the loft with Jason right about now... ;)

Thanks for reading!!

The more the merrier...and I wouldn't mind a bit if Jason tagged along too! ;)

Brilliant! Loved it! Scotty as a repair man is so hot! I can't believe you finished the story at this point. come on! The best part was about to start :)

It remember me a lot of season 2. You perfectly described what Scotty meant when he said to Kevin that he was in the same place he was months before. Chad treatment of Kevin in this fic it reminds me of how Kevin treat Scotty sometimes in the show.

Anyway, perfect second part. In all the universes every time Scotty and Kevin meet they fell in love :)

Thank you so much for writing this with the prompt list :)

He can repair my deck anytime ;)

It was tough doing a 4 prompt story. I honestly didn't think it would work, especially a short story where you don't really have time to develop any of the themes that well. And Venus? Oh brother..... The actual planet was all I could think of.

Thanks with your help deciding on prompts, I don't think I was able to use all of them, since I have to make a specific pattern. (a diamond, a little square, all 4 corners...) I think I got a few in there tho ;)

awww It was my pleasure andthank you so much for using the prompts. It is an amazing story so it worked perfectly.

Loved how you introduced Venus to the story. It reminds me of the scene in "The Busy World is Hushed" where Luke's character and his boyfriend are looking at the stars through the telescope. Did you get the inspiration from that scene?

Oh I've never seen that play. Hadn't heard of it. I do get inspiration from other movies and books on occasion but the star gazing was purely out of desperation trying to figure out how to incorporate Venus. :)

Loved this story. Nothing like a romantic time in a cabin in the woods (although.. I've seen too many horror movies start out that way as well) ;)

Ha,ha,ha,ha!!! I can honestly say horror movies didn't even occur to me or I would have gone in a different direction.

If Jason shows up, it wont be the one in the hockey mask and axe. LOL!
