Let's pretend Laertes' typist isn't mildly braindead, shall we? Let's also say Laertes is seated somewhere out in the gardens, enjoying the early morning sun and looking a bit like a contented cat. Bother away.

Laertes is -- well, bored. So bored, in fact, that he's strolling around the gardens, looking for a comfortable place to take a nap. He's free to be bothered, though, and would probably enjoy talking to someone.

*Typist is having a lack of good ideas tonight, so -- Laertes is here. Looking out a window in his rooms, and thinking*

Laertes is -bored-. Too bored to practise fencing, and he doesn't know where his sister is, so he decides to read. Currently, he's reading about the history of Denmark, flopped lazily atop a chair in his rooms.

*is currently fencing with his shadow, mainly because he needs the practise, but also because he's bored*
*so, yes, will keep fencing until someone bothers him*
