Ahoy thar, mateys

Not by me, but by notusachan . Inspired by a post-DragonCon conversation that began with me almost leaving the TVM panel to follow a certain costumed person, and ended with Eric Roberts trying to kill me.

One completely spoiler free macro.

Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles... Doesn't sound too bad. I'll try to stay awake. )

I needed to share your lolarity with the world, and it had to be TODAY, which meant no time to ask for permission.

Unexpected pirated macro!

"Then he explained the name was the important thing for inspiring the necessary fear. You see, no one would surrender to the Dread Pirate Westley."

Trust me, it's a much better story if I leave the rest up to your imagination.

No? Ok.

I'm not so much a fan as thought "He's awfully nice to hang around and pose with people after the panel, why not?" Apparently he likes to pose with female fans by standing half behind them and slinging an arm all the way around their neck - less a hug, more of a headlock IMHO. I have a really sensitive gag reflex if anyone touches my throat so I kind of involuntarily jerked back, which he apparently thought was me snuggling in and he went "Awww" and tightened his hold, so I felt like he was strangling me but was too polite/hyperventilating to say anything. The result is a rather hilarious photo of me extremely pale faced, enormous double chin from pulling my head back, eyes going o_O , desperately trying to grin so the photo would be done.

... I saw him doing that. It was weird. I fled in terror, obviously. Fortunately, you seem to have survived the experience! What doesn't kill us makes us stronger, yes?

(ALSO OH HI PERSON I DON'T ACTUALLY KNOW BUT WAS APPARENTLY IN THE SAME ROOM WITH FOR SOME PERIOD OF TIME AT DRAGON*CON.)
