Bored. So I decided to take a trip to an alternate universe where American casting agents were allowed to cast Doctor Who. (I'm American, I'm allowed to make fun of us, haha.)

Now, this is not to say they're all American actors, but this is the type of crap we would pull. :)

No spoilers.

Oh my God, I just died laughing. My kids think I'm insane - "Mom's laughing at the computer again!"

PS, as the numbers go down, the laughter goes up. I am forwarding this to everyone I know.

Heheh yes that's why I did it in reverse order. Because if you start with Betty, you can only go down from there! :)

You... Have just won the Cracktastic Award of the season... where would you like it sent? (In pieces, of course...)

happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're coming to take you away, ha-haaa!!!!! "

And now, imagine any Scorsese movie ... box_in_the_box July 15 2008, 20:48:04 UTC
... With Joe Pesci as Seven, and Robert DeNiro as the Brig (and possibly Ray Liotta as Captain Jack):

"It was payback for the Time War ... and a lot of other things. It was among the Time Lords, real greaseball Gallifreyan shit ... and all we could do was take it."

I know people who are clamoring for Lee Pace as 11. I could more than handle that! (Although Eddie Izzard is still my long-shot)

Cary Elwes = yes

Three as Mike Meyers or Austin Powers? (I wouldn't stand either one, but that's beside the point)

Betty White FTW!

As much as Lee Pace would make a good 11...that would mean no Pushing Daisies, and that would make me sad. He could be 12.

I know! I adore PD and don't want it to end any time soon. But Lee Pace can be 12, I agree.

I would accept Lee Pace as 11. Mmm.

(Still holding out for Dylan Moran, though!)
