well, if they're being led by a camera truck along a hitch, then the actor has no control over the vehicle, they just pretend. same as if it's a green screen/rear projection setup.

I got the impression that anything that needed outside skills, Sherlock could master. Of course he has mastered acting but those who know him understand he has not grasped the emotion he is presenting.
