I read the books between May and August just so I would know what the big deal was about when I started seeing stuff about the movie. After reading the books, I didn't have high expectations for this movie, but I was still looking forward to it, and it pretty much didn't disappoint me since my expectations weren't very high. lol.

And in the book the timeline goes from like Jan to May, however in the movie they obviously had to push it. lol.

Heh, yeah. I had some low expectations (see potential laughs!) but... I don't... get the big deal? It was odd and unintentionally hilarious.

Ohhh, okay! I got confused with the timeline due to the prom thing (that guy asking her out and saying it was a month from that point on) and Edward watching her for... months. o_o

In the book it was some other dance that they're all asking her to. I was confused when I saw it too cause I was like 'Wait, what? Didn't she come to Forks in January?' There was snow on the ground at the beginning.

I agree with the unintentional hilarity. I know some of those scenes weren't supposed to be funny, but they got alot of laughs in my theater. lol.

I have no clue what the hype is about either...but unlike you, Miss Curious ;) I don't think I'll even be going to see it.

Maybe when it comes out on DVD or youtube... :p

Hee. I really didn't plan on seeing it but we had friends in town and it was a group of fannish people so we all went and had a great time (and dinner afterwards!). But next time I'm definitely watching it strictly on DVD!

I'm going to see it as soon as possible because I think it's crack and I hope there won't be too many teenage girls seeing as Twilight wasn't such a hype here. (lol when I was in High school musical 3 there were only about 15 people, me and my friend included lol)

Ha, hopefully it won't be that crowded! We had to line up an hour BEFORE the movie even started and there were seeerious fans in there. With books. And shirts. (Although I make an exception for HP with that because it's special-er. Heh.)

I am quite simply amazed when someone who is NOT a fan goes to see a movie of this BATSHIT INSANITY on the weekend it opens. You, my beautiful long-time friend, are a masochist.

I am waiting simply so that I do not have to hear squealing and fangirling in an obviously bad movie. Your review however, is awesome.

Hee! Thanks, babe. ♥ Your icon cracks me up. :D I really did NOT want to see the movie originally but we had friends in town and wanted to do a big fangirl thing and so... we all watched it in mutual horror. I think it might be a good idea to wait. 'Cause then there aren't as many diehard fans telling you to shut up at the many lolarious moments. WHATEVER. HIS SKIN SPARKLES. I MUST LAUGH.

Because I swear if someone tells me to shut up I'm going to tell them Edward is a CREEPY STALKER VIRGIN. And then I might get punched.
