scary sharp and last of the time lords.

Dear SPN Fandom,

I thought we were over the smooth faced/sharp eyes/creepy doll effect. They did a freaking episode showing evil dolls. That does not mean I want to see any version of the boys like that. Plz to be remembering that a) I do not see any wrinkles on them to call for blurring (looks more like Blur than the Smudge tool) and more to the ( Read more... )

He reminded me more of Yoda than a house elf. Which is odd but um, "when 900 years old you reach, look as good, you will not." HAH.

I try to think positively. I TRY.

FACE OF BOE WTF.

So true! And for that, I go in the corner and cry for a good few minutes and try to scrub bad imagery out of my head. ARGHHH. (Totally better clothes, yo.)

The not-normal ones looked botoxed! They remove all emotion from the faces.

Ahhh you saw Jack/Jack! Did your heart not BREAK? I still can't watch it without bawling.

I KNOW! I don't get it. Acting = emotions, face tends to move. Blurring the hell out of it = scary doll like creepy thing.

And oh my god, JACK/JACK. It definitely broke. I need to watch it again. I just saw it once and it was unbelievable. SO GOOD. (Note to self: look for Jack/Jack fic. Or just re-watch the ep and be happy for 40 odd minutes. Eeeee.)

Exaaactly.

And, you know, wasn't it in The Long Game where they said the Face of Boe was pregnant? (Or I could have been hearing things). See! MALE PREGNANCY TOO, IT'S LIKE EMO CRACKFIC OF A LIFE.

I need a Captain Jack icon. The WTF-ery needs to be consoled with an icon. Sigh.

Stef I am still at WTF.

That episode was like getting punched in the stomach after a day at the carnival of JOY (all the five episodes before the finale).

Jack, I am sorry that RTD would rather make a "joke" then let you be an awesomely omnisexual character of love and awesome. And I'm IGNORING the BOEFACE stuff because I would like to believe you are just fucking with Ten because he is a prick and GRRRR, he tured into a fucking GOD with NO CONSEQUENCES, like, WTF, WAY TO GO WITH NOT GIVING TEN HIS PUNISHMENT FOR HIS WHOLE I AM THE FINAL AUTHORATAH arc.

The Master dying to spite Ten = best part of it for me. And The Master having his own EVIL soundtrack again. I am ignoring the implied bruising on Lucy because it makes me angry and she should have just stayed batshit crazy (IN LOVE) with the Master.

Yes! It's not fair to him. IT'S STUPID, THAT'S WHAT IT IS. And I hope he's totally fucking with Ten because he IS being a prick, I agree. It makes no sense. I'm trying to remember who the heck it was that Ten reminded me of at the end of the episode (and I'm just coming up blank with, 'Jesus' with the forgiving part so uh, that's what 4 years of Catholic school will do to ya). But. WOW.

I liked the spite-ing! That was cool. (Don't you know Lucy is supposed to magically feel all angry towards him because the Master is a bad guy and Ten is good and thus the balances are kept and time is reversed, everything hunky dory, yay!).

...this is why I am glad I'm not really involved in DW fandom; this whole thing's just making my head hurt. WTF. jeeeeez.

God I'm still ANGRY at Ten. He spent most of this episode in bad makeup or as Dobby and I still think he needs to be punished more.

He turned into TINKERBELL. Everyone clapped and Believed and he FLEW, he FUCKING FLEW and GLOWED.

DW fandom is kind of awesome right now because everyone is very WTF and DO NOT WANT about this resolution.

I'm rewriting Lucy in my head. She's eeeevil and I'm sorry, but John Simm's acting towards her was not "abusive" or violent at all, if anything, he showed a lot of emotional attraction and appreciation of her. The kissing, oh god, that was hot. They want to do kinky shit, they should have looked at Scorpius "In Love" - that's some disturbing hot stuff, but Master/Lucy didn't have any violent bullshit happening and it was just...off. FAIL.

But he was maaaagical and forgiving! (omg DOBBY. I am thankful he didn't start talking like Dobby or Yoda.) I admire the Doctor for his non-violence but when you have positive thinking as magical energy and floating? Uh. I don't think so.

Yep, it wasn't abusive. I liked that he had an evil companion rather than just a minion to do his bidding -- had it been that, and he'd be constantly barking orders then I'd believe there's something different there. Here though, she seemed in on it and it didn't look violent. Heh, it was like Scorpius, yeah! But Lucy went and looked confused and then split-second shooting because they needed to wrap up in in a few minutes and needed time for the Vader John funeral pyre.
