I think New Frontier is the only comic I ever really loved Hal in. I came in on the GLs with Kyle (dead fridge girlfriend and all) so I always held a little bitterness towards fans that felt ONLY Hal should be GL and that Kyle and the rest of the crew would never be good enough. But seriously? If you haven't read New Frontier yet, you really should -it's glorious.

(but yeah....Kyle MacLachlan? As Superman? That kinda freaks me out. I didn't know he did voice work...)

I've been the same re: only Hal should be GL. I love Kyle, especially in JLA waaay back (banter with Wally! glee at fighting along his idols!). I read the first part of New Frontier but didn't get to finish it. I still have it saved on the hard drive but I want to put time aside to take my time and read it all in one go and savor it. (Or you know, read something in one go, i.e. Infinite Crisis, which I still haven't read. Agh.)

I think he'll do a good voice for Superman but then again, I don't really watch a lot of his work. So. Hmm.

I love DB so he could voice just about anything and I wouldn't oppose. Conroy is outstanding as Batman though. No one can deny that. John Stewart is my fav GL because he's pretty much the only one I know. I didn't like GL when I was younger but he's pretty cool in JLA.

I was in NY too but only on Sunday! I saw some clips from Fri & Sat and it looked pretty cool. Wish I could have talked my hubby into going both days. We had weekend passes. :(

DB was very good in Kingdom Hearts but yeah, I'd also listen to him voice anything. And Conroy is PERFECT for Batman, which makes me worry -- if DB was on the project, rather he voice Batman instead, but that's because I'm biased. ;) (John Stewart GL = kicks ass. Sometimes I wish they'd done a GL animated series. Too many possibilities!)

I found out afterwards that some of the artists I wanted to see had gone on Friday, which sucked because I missed them on Saturday. Saturday was INSANE though. The tickets were sold out, meaning it was packed. But next year I'll take my time and maybe get a weekend pass so I can actually go to panels rather than just buy junk. ;)

Puleeze! I was there on Sunday, the "Slow Day" and I didn't see everything I wanted to. I sprinted through artists alley taking time only to talk to Greg Horn. I missed the Dabel Brothers booth even though I literally ran through Marvel's to get a Dexter Vine autograph (super nice guy). I chatted in Dark Horse for the longest. The rest was with Feedback & gang or running... in ... heels. I had to get the weekend pass because Saturday was sold out and we thought we might go then but then our friends could only make Sunday.

SNERK! I have that comic. I bought it new, which shows how old I am. (And why is it that I can remember the plot of that story but not what I had for lunch yesterday? Is that another You've Been Hit By the Old Age Truck sign?)
