green lantern's light!
Just thought the DB fans would like to know: David Boreanaz is voicing Green Lantern Hal Jordan in the Justice League: New Frontier direct to DVD movie. More info here. This is besides Kyle MacLachlan voicing Superman, Lucy Lawless voicing Wonder Woman and Neil Patrick Harris voicing The Flash (Barry Allen, not listed in the above article but listed in other places and noted on the IMDB page for the movie).
I'm not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand, YAY, David doing a voice in what's sure to be a kick ass JLA film, but on the other hand, Hal? Hmm. I'm not that big of a Hal fan (I've read about him here and there, and in Alex Ross' Justice, but I'm all for Kyle Rayner & John Stewart Green Lanterns. And Guy Gardner. Basically the Bronze and Modern Age ones. Sacrilege, whee.) but this could work. Then again, even since reading the whole Batman rumors for David... I'd rather it be Batman if Kevin Conroy isn't doing the voice.
I might also be bitter at David not returning to voice Squall for Kingdom Hearts 2, but that's another story. fuckdamnit.
Eeep, I didn't talk about the NY Comic Con. It was fun. Massively crowded and horrific lines outside the Javitz Center, but fun. Bought an Ash doll, as well as some old comics and cheap trade paperbacks. ETA: Forgot to mention, they had some action figures from Superman: Doomsday and the character designs basically look just like JLU, only a little different. Bought this comic because I want to hang it in my living room whenever I get an apartment for my own. It's a conversation piece. Oh, Silver Age, you make it so easy. SO EASY.
