I think that its perfectly understandable to be this upset about an animal, they are your family.

Sometimes, they are the only people in the world that are there for you.

i'm sorry rie. and don't let anyone laugh at you for feeling so sad about virgil (i know i'd be unspeakably depressed if anything happened to bailey), especially with what you said about him being by your mom's side while she was sick. grieve however long you need to, fuck what anyone thinks.
