Ok. I need a new job. Preferably one with flexible hours that once the fall semester starts up again can give me hours like 6pm to close or weekend hours. Any suggestions?
apply to places that have locations both close to your school and to your house. Fast food places, drugstores, supermarkets, clothing stores, whatever.
oops. posted that too soon.anitapitabreadApril 12 2008, 22:25:55 UTC
like stop and shop. they have a union you can join after you work there for so long. or cvs. they're a pretty good company. Then you can work at the location that's by your house in the summer, and then transfer to the location that is by hour school later.
OR you could apply to be a waitress somewhere at a bar or a restaurant bar type place. Places like that will get you good tips if you can score a shift or two on a busy night like thursday or friday. Try the bar that's right by RIC. I can't remember the name of it, but the place that's 19+.

Haha. Thanks. I've thought about all this I just haven't gotten around to doing it. Apply to a job isn't my problem it's actually getting one, because everyone is looking.
you need to waitress. you'll love it. you'll get to meet new people and you'll be making at least $60 per night. And thats a slow night. I made about $70-120 a night at India. If you have an inexpensive apartment like nicks, you'll be able to pay rent in literally a friday/saturday shift.
It's hard work but think about it. it's completely worth it if you want FAST CASH.
