Slash Party Woes

D:So, I went to a K/S-themed slash party yesterday (woo!), with the plan of watching slashy TOS episodes, maybe a movie or two, and fanvids. But, well, things did not go as planned

O_O. I didn't know parties like this existed. Or that there was even a Romulus, NY. Amazing!

The joy of knowing fellow fangirls irl ^.^ It helps that a visiting professor had a vidshow awhile back (educational slash ftw!), with a couple of K/S vids in it (it's actually what drew me to Star Trek in the first place), and that's how I found out the host of the party shipped them too.

I'm slightly tempted to move to Romulus just to be able to call myself a Romulan ^.^ There's also a Vulcan in Alberta.

I've been to Vulcan, Alberta before, but it was before I was a Trekkie, so I couldn't appreciate it :[

That's at once awesome and unfortunate :( But hey, there's apparently a street called Vulcan St. in Buffalo, and there's a Vulcan, MI (and there's a Pine St. there, but they don't Trek it up like in Canada). Little slices of Vulcan that are closer to home ^.^
