Lovely review (and lovely new layout, btw!)!

Damn, that was another hard-hitting ep! But I'm a sucker for stuff like that... :o And I'm still googling my ass off for all the great songs. GAH! I could swear the song at the end is by Castle Project again. BTW, still having my shipper goggles frimly in place. Didn't Amy just look a wee bit disappointed when Ben didn't want to invite her for lunch? ;) And wow, I didn't expect Amy had such a horrible backstory. I thought she was just traumatized by her relationship with Nick.

- Hall and the red light district of Amsterdam/GILF talk - where the fuck did THAT come from? As random talk it was really... random.
I had to laugh so hard! Hall is made of win. <3

- what is it about the lightbulb? Brings to mind that Ben was held in some sort of room where he looked up at a lightbulb like that when he was abused. Also on the drawing "Where were you" might tie into douchebag!mom's role from last week - as in a mother figure not helping BenI thought he was probably kept in a dark room by his father ( ... )

Thank you! (They layout was just a placeholder until I found a new host for the .ccs script for this one)

Me too. But I cannot find anything, despite understanding the lyrics. Castle Project could be it, it does sound similar. And I still want the song that played in ep 2 when Harry went to the bar.

A bit, yeah. But I think it was more because she thought he was doubting her, which was before he revealed that he went back to the crime scene. Without Ella, I'd gladly ship them, but Ella just seems to mean too much to Ben.

I thought she was just traumatized by her relationship with Nick.

I started to wonder after her reactions in Sound of a Strap, but did not expect that it was during her childhood. She has more in common with Ben than she thinks!

I had to laugh so hard! Hall is made of win. <3He is! Great team with Terry, and still the only one with no bad history or anything bad ( ... )

Thanks again for the review. I liked this episode very much. It seems they finally find the right balance and pace even though it is too late most probably.

Thank you!
And ya, aside from the Pilot, I think they did a great job on the eps so far with some really brilliant one.

Sadly, only two more on Global, but still not giving up hope, as it's unusual for a Canadian show to be broadcast in other countries so fast.

Yeah I thought Ben was locked in some sort of room, too. Though now I'm wondering if he hid in a dark room somewhere, maybe to escape what was happening to him. Ahhh. So many questions unanswered.

I kind of liked the lack of 'alters' in this episode, gave Ben a chance to just be BEN, even if he was confused and lost in his own thoughts a lot. :)

"Though now I'm wondering if he hid in a dark room somewhere, maybe to escape what was happening to him."

Ya, that's also a possibility and would explain the "In the dark" better.
One of these days I need to make a list of Ben's triggers and what triggers what personality. Maybe there is a clue, there. Sam tends to come out in reaction to physical and verbal violence. Harry, I haven't figured out, yet. Same for Ivan. Aaaaah, so much to speculate on!

Well put and I liked that as well. I think we're beginning to see more and more how his condition affects him as opposed to seeing the effects of the condition itself, if that makes sense.
Pity they're skipping eps...

Drive-by reply. Not reading. Not before I've watched! Just taking a glimpse at pics. Hi!
