Highlander the Raven Question

Does anybody know where the beginning of The Raven was set (I mean fictionally speaking, I know it was filmed in Toronto)? Was it a specific city, or a fictional one? I don't recall seeing it anywhere in any epsiodes, and Nick's one and only flashback has him on holiday in New York so that's no use. I want to write him a flashback set a few years

They never said as far as I can recall. I remember on one of the email lists where they were trying to blend Chicago and Toronto together, like Vancouver and Seattle for Seacouver [g]

I had Chicago in my head, maybe from an interview on the DVD, that they were trying to get the feel of that city, so maybe I'll go with that. I guess I could just put the year and not specify the city. *shrugs*

I'm pretty certain Chicago was what they were going for, they just never stated it.

And yeah, we never came up with anytihng that rolled off the tongue [g]

I couldn't find anything that worked as when mingling the two names, so I just called it North Chicago.

Hee! Just occurred to me I should have called it Metropolis...
