Hello! Yes, my connection still sucks- it takes 5 mins to load a page of my friends page, so I do about one a day. And see all sorts of fascinating stuff, and must sit on hands to keep myself from clicking on links or commenting. But here is some this and that from Rat World ( Read more... )

Scrolling through my flist this morning, and I saw this post. A good thing I had swallowed my coffee, before I read the post title. That really stuck with you, didn't it?

You really want me to tell the whole story on my lj? Perhaps I will, although it's a long story. And of course, it is one of those experiences that is only amusing in retrospect. At the time, I was really wondering whether we'd ever get home, since he was so clearly psychotic.

It is a long story, but if you can tell it live... Most of the most hilarious stories are ones that are harrowing etc when they happen. Things that are funny when they happen often fall flat in the retelling.

It's good to see you here! And I'm sorry that your internets issues remain unresolved. And YAY! job. And also, you may or may not have seen that I posted the long version of the fanfic/separate spheres/new tech article, and when you have a chance I would really, really like some help with it if you don't mind. What would be the easiest possible way to get you a copy, if it's too annoying to get it off my lj?
