This could quite plausibly be one of those egg-thingies on the DVD, which I have no idea how to find, but apparently they are pretty hilarious.

This is actually funnier though.

I wish I could remember where I saw the post... it was when ROTK first came out, and someone posted something about an easter egg that cut to a hobbit prank - DM pretending to be some German journalist interviewing EW over the phone, and the questions gradually getting slashier and slashier. I haven't really gone looking for them on my copy yet, but it sounds like there's some good stuff there.
