NOT kidding, one of my girlfriends and I were recently chatting about men and their… gerkins, as her boyfriend walked in and asked what we were talking about. Guess what we said! Yes, exactly! SHOES.

Loved it. I didn't realize how much i missed Robin and Lily's friendship until it came back on screen.

Hehe! No way? I remember when Ted and Barney were caught in the same situation they both said "Fantasy Football" in unison. It must be a boy-thing vs girl-thing right?

I might have let out a squee! when I read the word Robinatrix. And yes, it was very audible. :D

This is perfect on so many levels. This is exactly what I wanted when I was thinking about a 6x05 fic...thank you! (And you did it before the weekend too, wow)

My favourite parts:

1. The flashbacks! ("annoyingly calm" is one of the best descriptions of Don I've ever read)

2. Lily sighing over Barney (she's got such a crush on him!)

3. Is he a Don? Or a Barney? Or, heaven-forbid, a Ted? (Oh, I loved this line)

All in all, totally a missing scene from the last episode. I love it!

Now, I got Robinatrix from somebody. I can't remember who mentioned it. Was it lilithisbitter? I honestly can't remember. But it's a great word.

Thank you for your very kind words. I definitely feel that Robin's spanking fetish is canon. There's so many references to it! She SAYS she wants to spank Don until his bum's all red, and she admits she's never slapped Barney "above the waist". You just know that's it!
