I looove that last moment where Ted tells him, but Barney's asleep. I would love to see something like that happen on the show. I'm waiting for a moment when *someone* finally tells Barney he's their best friend (Robin... I'm looking at you).
I liked Lily's musings, too. This was a good way to shake off the dust and stretch those writing muscles. Nice.

But I do have some right now. I think I got stuck with depression over Whiskey and my "As Fast As She Can" story, nether of which were any good or inspired me. *sigh*
I need to free myself up with some shorts and drabbles.

And this was really sweet. I really liked Lily's section (for obvious reasons), and Ted's was nice, as well. And, yeah, definitely seconding the whole "Barney needs to be someone's best friend" thing.
