Barney went to church.

Nobody went to church anymore, which he thought was a sad indictment on their modern culture. Certainly no zombies went to church.

Wow. This is fantastic!

I love the idea of Zombie!Barney going to church to find his answers... it'd really be the only thing he could do, isn't it? And you also addressed a lot of *cough* glaring plotholes in my 'verse *cough* really well, and I'm sure they would add to poor old ZB's feelings of isolation from everyone. I was just thinking of how to address that this morning.

But my question is, did God really give him his answers? Because the ending was kind of left ambiguous enough that you didn't know if he was being sarcastic, thanking God for staying silent, or if he'd really heard anything. But I liked that you left it that way.

Two zombie!thumbs up. =D

Barney Stinson: not even death can stop his awesomeness.

I love how you can explore these deep dark angsty themes, while still keeping it very funny and Barney. And I like how you make him so sure in his belief, even though he's just come back from the dead. And the description of how it feels to be a zombie was kind of heartbreaking.

Ugh, now I need to write zombie!fic. It's like a disease.

Actually, can you think of a time in any episode from any season when Barney looks dishevelled or makes a zombie face? I could try and do a screen grab and we could photoshop him really pale?

Um... when he comes out of the garbage at the end of No Tomorrow, maybe? Though I don't know how "zombie-ish" he looks there... he's just pretty out of it, not like eyes-rolling-back, I-want-to-eat-your-brains zombie-ish.

I'm totally loving Zombie!Barney and the fact that he goes to God to talk things out.

It's weird, strange, and bizarre but totally awesome at the same time.

I don't think I could make my Zombie!Barney not creepy though. All my zombies have maggots...and tend to have disfigured yet still large *cough* man reactions

I don't know about anyone else but I'd TOTALLY read that.

I just wanted my Zombie!Barney to be sexxor enough for Robin to still want to bang. Even if he's a bit chilly.

Loved this fic. It made me almost not giggle which is quite a feat as I have just come back from watching Priscilla. (Go watch, it's fantastic. I almost wish I had more time between this and Spring Awakening, worried the latter will fade by comparison. Anyway, that has nothing to do with Zombies so I will toodle off....)
