i'm so fat i've just broken our bed. i was lying in bed, turned over and the wooden slats gave way. just tried to fix it with no luck, floods of tears

It's the bed that was shoddy, not you. This bad spell won't last, & you'll be liking yourself again soon.

I have had the same thing happen to our bed... 3 of the wooden slats have broken. Namely because I tend to get on a bed knee first so it ends up with one knee and all the weight going on a slat.

Its depressing when it happens and you can't fix our bed either as there are plastic bits hammered into the base and once they are in they don't come out.

Fucking beds.... Fucking weight.

I'm terrified that one day I'm going to do they same thing to our bed...which is metal so that would suck to infinity.

I am definately enjoying the winter = snuggly jumpers and cardis and have swathed myself in such items today as they hide all lumps and bumps...of which I have MANY.

boo to putting on weight...I can't stop eating at the minute.

oh hun, I hate to see you down, you are usually chipper! Bit I fully understand the putting on a front thing on here!. It isn't you, things are not made wel these days, we have to have anew hoover every year as it breaks and washing machins only last about 3 years on average- things are just shoddy! I broke my bed ( we were having sex at the time!)wooden beds are not that strong! Think of all the fat blokes in the world, do you think they blame themselves if the bed breaks, course they don't!
