I'm guilty of this!!!! I, for some reason, thought Aragorn was *37* during the Hobbit xD I guess when I read the appendices, I forgot some really important information! I read it again about 2 weeks ago and felt really stupid xD I even mentioned it to @tolkiengateway today. I asked you for an impossible pairing about a month ago, I think? I want to clarify: I was not asking for chan and would never. I just have a really poor memory xD

Oh, baby, I know you weren't asking for chan!! I never even thought that. And, lucky for you, I did manage to pull it off in the fic I wrote for you, and it's one of the fics I'm happiest with from last month. :)

*sniggles* I do hate that so much of Tolkien's 'verse is ignored in favor of PJ's interpretation for the LotR films.

I very politely thanked the commenter for reading the fic and pointed out that her math was wrong if she'd used the correct dates and came up with Aragorn being 27 at the time of The Hobbit. And I know exactly what she did...took Aragorn's age in ROTK (when Eowyn asks) and subtracts the 60 years that is directly mentioned in the film, ignoring the 17 years that passed between the birthday party and Frodo actually leaving the Shire. Some people. *shakes head*
