Thursday morning ramblings

So it’s Thursday and season 3 of Supernatural starts tonight. Um, yaye? Sorry, but I feel like I should be more excited about it than I am. And now, thanks to my flist (which I thought I could f’n TRUST), I now know the title of tonight’s episode in addition to knowing the 3rd episode title. For the love of god, people, WHY WOULD YOU USE THE ( Read more... )

I'm not as excited about SPN as I want to be either. I keep seeing people all bouncy and I'm thinking "meh." I think it's the fandom. I hope it's the fandom. I'm hoping Sam and Dean will restore my squee.

As for the ideas jostling, I hear you. Sometimes I get my best writing done on those days though because they're all pushing to get out and there's no "omg, I can't find words." I hate staring at a blank doc not knowing what I'm putting on it, but making that decision to commit to one project and not another can be SO hard and heartbreaking. (Especially when the muses are loud in your head. Like... I need to work on Mohinder/Peter, and now Chris/Dave are constantly making pretty eyes at each other in my head. *sighs*)

I think a bit part of it for me is absolutely the fandom. Like you, I'm hoping that tonight will restore my squee, for the show at least.

Okay, yeah. You know my vote's going for Chris/Dave making pretty eyes at each other. *g* But then, I'm easy like that. ;)

I'll probably pull up Word later and see what comes spilling out. At the very least, I should be able to get something started.

Oh, I know people liked it. There were people all over my flist squeeing about it. I just...I dunno. I swear I could feel brain cells dying last night. *snugs*

Yeah, I don't figure that's going to be a problem for them, either. And I can absolutely understand that people will like it, and I'll even admit that it had some witty dialogue and the lead character and the black guy were great. My #1 biggest problem was the narrator. Brenda had to actually force me to watch the rest of the show.

3 days, yaye!!!!

Omg, you have to get at least an imp of La Bella Donna Della Mia Mente! I am so in love with this scent right now that it's not even funny.

And yes, I got my squee for the show back. :)

Thankfully, I missed the premiere of Pushing Daisies. I was out with friends. In the previews it just really didn't appeal to me ... in a way, it kind of struck me as a very poor attempt to be a witty Britsh Drama-edy. Judging by your review, it failed.

However, That’s how I roll ... I say this far too often and actually own a shirt that says it ... and has a picture of a little red wagon on it. Just thought I'd mention it, because like Pushing Daises I'm cute, quirky and off the wall ... but without all the oversaturated colours.

Megan for teh win! *\o/*

And boo for people on your flist being fandom "OMG WHAT THE EFF ARE YOU DOING!?"ers. *nods*

Oh, man, it failed miserably. You should've heard Brenda and me through the whole ep.

And you're far cuter and quirkier and all that than Pushing Daisies was. *g*
