I love how you've focused this so tightly on the R/U thread of the plot! Part of my mix's weakness, perhaps, is that I tried to focus on everything (in the fullest sense of the word). I already had about five of these songs, so it made the downloading task that much easier :)

So thrilled that you like it. I don't think your mix is weak at all. Why is it that Queen has an appropriate song for just about every setting one could imagine? Also, that Civil Wars song stopped my heart, just so you know! Since you like them, I really think you would like "Raising Sand" by Alison Krauss/Robert Plant, too. I probably already mentioned it at some point, but I can't say enough about that album!

Because Queen is just amazing like that, as it happens! Crowley has damned good taste, no pun intended.

I've heard enough of "Raising Sand" to know that I should probably own the album, so on my shopping list it goes. Out of your mix, the one song I hadn't previously known, but which has struck me the most, is definitely the one called "Meanwhile." It's still in my head!
