I wouldn't doubt that this is another trick directly related to the city's activity. Hmph. Turning them all into children. [Vexen looks quite exasperated by this point.]

It's oddly fitting, though I would rather have it end before the racket becomes too distracting.

So this move facilitates-- [Sounds of a washer going off in the next room, Vexen's hand slides down the page he was writing on, making a smudge.]

It facilitates-- [Another noise from the laundry room, and he sloooowly begins to crumple the note with an annoyed grunt. Sigh, time to start over.]

[Vexen is busy writing something. Something of which looks very important, and he has yet to notice that said important paper is being written on the second level.]
