We spent a good portion of the morning in the emergency room--not for me (I'm fine, though still a little bit sore), but for Kevin, who began a mammoth session of digestive distress at about 1 a.m. The ER visit was mostly because it was needed to get him excused from duty today

Bet it was a relief when we vacated the house, minutes before the distress began. You can tell him that's God punishing him for trying to spoil Lost for me. Heh.

It was really good to see you. It's been so long since we've spent any time together, I'd forgotten how enjoyable it is to be around you. Thanks for that.

I also really enjoyed being around you! It's nice to see that my memories of how good your company is were not merely rose colored. I hope, as we try to revive our social lives a bit, that I get to see you more often :)
