20 Link & Zelda Icons
Today I have 20 icons featuring Link & Zelda from various game titles in The Legend of Zelda series, plus a couple from the Smash Bros. crossover. I had intended to claim this pairing for otp20in20's Round 3 because it fell on Valentine's Day and this is one of my first ships (now I feel old) but unfortunately all slots filled up before I had a chance to sign-up... so consider this my unofficial set XD If you see something you like, please help yourself but do remember to:

For the category set, I chose green and pink because they're Link & Zelda's colours, making the actual gradient using opacity layers.
It also represents the blossiming of love (green buds to pink flowers) over time and I used imagery/titles from different game stages in the series to further capture this transition
The Artists Choice set was all about humour and basically turning their relationship into a crack pairing. Here's how it went in my head:
16. As Link ran off to find Sheik and profess his love, Zelda realized the moral of the story: never crossdress around your boyfriend
17. Zelda was not the kind of girl to wait for love, if Cupid was going to be stingy with his arrows, she'd have to take matters into her own hands
18. As handy as Zelda's newly possessed form was in battle, Link found that it was all the more scary when she got mad at him
19. Little did an unsuspecting Zelda realize, but she was about to be gang raped glomped
20. After days of questing, puzzles and battles, those weren't exactly the words Link wanted to hear from his newly found damsel in distess
All other images were found at Creative Uncut and Zeldapedia. I've tried to credit all resources, but it's quite possible I've left some out by accident so if you see something that is yours please let me know so I can give proper credit.
