Speaking for myself, I packed up and moved to Dreamwidth ages ago. Only just now felt like coming back to LJ to see how things were going on. Only to find everything has changed and all my old haunts are ghost towns. It's so weird.

I've been toying with the idea to make these sort of icons, actually. but it feels like stepping into an entirely new ~world~ and it feels a bit intimidating (which is not based on any experience or thing I've read, it's just my brain, really). like, does one need to be good at colouring/drawing per mouse/tablet to be considered good?

If you're worried about drawing/colouring then you could always use anime caps/scans first rather than colouring manga pages. :)
