USING PS7 in 6 layers
01. I used
this image from
indicaps. Crop and resize your base to 100x100.
Unsharp mask using
these settings.
02. Duplicate the base (Ctrl+J) and change the blending mode to Screen. That helped to brighten up my base a little.
03. The image wasn't bright enough, so I duplicated the base again and set the layer to Screen.
04. Create a new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N) and fill it with a peach color (#FFDCAB). Set the blend mode to Color Burn at 100%.
>
05. Now, create another new layer and fill it with a blue gradient. (#2EAEF5 to #ACF6FE) Set the blend mode to Color Burn at 100%.

06. Personally, I found the coloring to be a bit dull, so I go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves. (
Screenshot). I left my RGB settings alone, and the rest are:
RED GREEN BLUE.
RED - Point One (I: 187, O: 227); Point Two (I: 68, O: 137)
GREEN - Point One (I: 71, O: 68); Point Two (I: 182, O: 198)
BLUE - Point One (I: 119, O: 143); Point Two (I: 60, O:108)
And you are done! You can add text, textures, brushes, whatever you want! I'd love to see your results.
