This post is right on the line of the minimum standard for inclusion in this community. Although you have included the rudiments of "what," consider adding more "how" and "why" in the future. The point, for the community, is about the explanation, not about the recipe.

I tried it out on an icon I was working on, and this is what I got before I put the light texture:
Those look great! The light texture doesn't always work for all icons, but I like to play around and see what goes. :) Thanks for showing me the results, this is the first time I've ever seen the result of someone using my tutorial! :D
