Sometimes if a gif is too big filesize-wise, where you're uploading it won't play it or upload it properly.

How big is the gif before you upload?

i deleted the original .gifs i uploaded (what was the point since they didn't work?), so i figured i'd redo the gif in photoshop to get the measurements. but now that i'm in photoshop, the actual video i'm working with has gotten really fuzzy and bad quality. when i hit play to section off the part i want, it flashes from red to half a screen :/

Did you try uploading the gif to another image host to see if it works? If I remember correctly, Imageshack no longer supports animated gifs unless you get a subscription.

Imageshack changed their policy so that only those with Premium accounts can upload gifs. However, gifs uploaded before the new rule was implemented are still working.

well hello there, Gerard.

I think the filesize has to be 500kb or less for it to work.
