Do you have Save Metadata set to something other than 'None'? I was having the same problem and once I switched it over to 'None', it fixed it.

I had to set to Copyright and Contact Info and I just tried switching it over but it didn't fix it =/

Are you using Snow Leopard? If you are, the Finder now gives you file sizes in what-do-you-call-it, the system where a megabyte is 1000 kilobytes (etc) instead of 1024. Which is annoying, but we just have to live with it. Anyway, if this is the source of the discrepancy then there actually is no discrepancy--PS is saving the file at 39k as requested and the Finder is telling you its size in a different counting system, but it's the same size. Does that make any sense? Have you confirmed with a third application that the files actually are larger than you've asked for?

Yeah, I'm using Snow Leopard. LJ won't upload the ones that save as 41k, saying it exceeds the size limit so I'm assuming it actually is saying as 41

Oh wait, I just tried now and PS says it saved at 39 and Finder says 41 but LJ uploaded it. Maybe the ones I've tried in the past were either flukes or my mistake? Hmm... I'll keep this in mind. But I guess as long as PS says it's saving it as 39 I should be good?
