photoshop vs. gimp coloring issues

Mar 22, 2009 04:38

I'm having some issues regarding the colouring of images that I open up in Photoshop CS3. I have a screenshot under the cut of the image as seen in Photoshop, and then the image as it's suppose to be seen, in Gimp.
don't, don't, don't, don't let it get me down )

program: gimp, program: photoshop, basics: colour theory

Then you need to change your PS color / display calibration.

I can't tell you how to do it myself right now, because of the four computers in this house I'm stuck using the ONE that doesn't run Photoshop, but Google around a bit for it and you should find some useful guides. I think we might even have a good one in the memories... I remember aquamarcia describing it to a user at great length at one point.

I checked the memories, but didn't think to check the tags under colour theory. Thanks! :)

Thank you so much! I didn't realize that it had to do with the display calibration. :/
