I've toyed around with WoW UI Plugins some, sometimes fixing bugs in ones I use, but I can't think of any ideas for new ones that haven't already been done, sometimes several times over, so I haven't pursued that thought too far.

a MU* *client*? You've done the server, so you should have a pretty ideal
perspective for taking the other end of it too.

I do understand what you mean though. There is something very fulfilling about fully handling a project from conception to implementation. Gotta hate that 'cog in the big machine' feeling as opposed to maintaining the whole of the machine.

I often feel the same way about the books I've worked on, and I think that you'll probably see the same thing in any large-scale, collaborative project. I know the sections I write inside and out, and if the scope is small enough, I often become very familiar with the book as a whole. But when a project starts to reach 100,000 words and beyond, forget it. ^_^;
