Indescribable Chemistry

Daiki groaned silently about his luck. Just great. He's stuck in an elevator with a total stranger - and the stranger is a girl! Well, look at at this way. It's better than to be stuck in there alone, right?

Even with his dislike with girls, he felt a pang of pity when he saw how frightened she was and he (being the novice about girls) doesn't know how to calm her down. When she mentioned about her being a claustrophobic, that was when he understood everything; about why she was really freaked out about the whole ordeal.

"Shhh..." Daiki didn't know what came over to him but he suddenly felt this foreign feeling to protect her - he couldn't let go of her. He felt her calmed down a bit and that made him smile. "Daijoubu desu ka?"

"Uh.. hai. I guess so. Arigatou gozaimasu."

Daiki still couldn't remove his arms around her and he didn't seem to mind - so does her. He was enjoying the closeness and the intoxicating smell of her fragrance. He just couldn't seem to get enough of it.

"Let's just talk. It might make you forget about what's going on."

"Okay. Gomenasai for freaking out. I'm not very good in handling these kind of situations."

"I completely understand. What are you doing with a bunch of clothes anyways?"

"Oh, that." she remarked quite sarcastically. Daiki could imagine her rolling her eyes about it and that made him chuckle a bit. "My mother asked me to pick up the clothes from the Laundromat nearby... oh, I'm so gonna kill her later. She just forgot about one single detail. "

"Nani?"

"That the clothes can hide a human being. I'm so gonna kill her later!" That made Daiki laugh.

"Doushite? She's your okaa-san. Maybe she forgot?"

"Ugh.. fine. She does forget about details like that sometimes - I guess I have to forgive her."her laughs were really contagious, Daiki couldn't help but laugh with her. Her laughs were like a child's - so carefree.

They talked some more and Daiki noticed that she seemed to be a lot calmer than before. She told him how she's into music and how she's digging to playing the drums - like Yuto. She also plays the piano - like Kei - and the guitar - like Keito - and how she likes to read novels and also mangas. She even told Daiki how she loves to eat and how she loves Ichigos - like Ryosuke. Daiki had his fair share of stories too. They had almost nothing in common but that seemed to make them more interested in each other. She even confessed how she hated celebrities and Daiki told her about how he dislikes girls. Surprisingly, both of them feel at ease in confessing their secrets, like it doesn't really troubles them or anything.

Daiki's hand accidently touched hers and without thinking, he held her hand. It felt so natural, like her hands were really made to be entagled in his. Now he finally understood when the others told him how it's the nicest feeling. "Mou~ I could stay like this forever~" Daiki said with a grin.

"What do you mean?" She untangled her hands and faces Daiki. Even though it was dim, he could still tell that she's pretty.

"I mean, it's quite unfortunate to be stuck her in the elevator... but I'm glad that I get to be stuck with you."

It took her awhile to reply him." I- I guess I'm quite thankful too. I mean, if it wasn't because of you, I might've died ages ago! " Daiki chuckled.

"What? you guess? That's not the kind of appreciation I'm looking for..." Daiki pouted jokingly.

She giggled before asking, "then what did you expect?"

"Well... I was expecting... this..." Daiki held her nape and planted a gentle kiss right on her lips. He didn't know how he'd been able to do that. Its just in every second he had spent with her... the desire just kind of builds up. At first, he could feel her tense up and wasn't being responsive... but in the end he could feel her loosen up a bit and returned his kiss. Daiki smiled.

"What?"

"Betsuni. I really mean it when I say that I could stay like this forever." Her kisses made him forget about everything. His feelings grew and became stronger. He just couldn't stop himself. It felt like the most natural thing for him. He thought that he could do this for ages. They talked some more after that

"After this... I want meet you again.." Daiki blurted out.

"Yeah... But-" the rest of her answer was inaudible. Daiki just realized that she fell asleep when he felt something rested on his shoulders. He chuckled to himself sleepily as his eyelids droop to a close. Thinking that even when he opens them again, she'd be the first person he wanted to meet.

~~~~~
He heard the ding of the elevator and a bump from where he was situated. He opened his eyes and saw that the elevator door was closing. He quickly stood up and held the door open. He was at the 9th floor and there was no one there. He remembered that she was in the 10th floor. So was everything a dream?
Daiki felt so frustrated. Why did she just left him? Just like that?
He went back to his dorm only to find 9 pairs of eyes glaring at him.
"Where have you been young man? You've been gone for hours!!"
"Uhh.. nowhere Takaki-kun. I just got stuck somewhere."
"We were worried sick and that's the best excuse you could give us?!"
"Gomenasai. But it's nothing important Hikaru-kun... really." Daiki didn't feel like talking to anyone right then. But he could tell that the others are still not done with him.
Daiki sighed. "Hontou... I just got stuck in the elevator when the power interruption occured... and I fell asleep. My phone couldn't find a signal so I couldn't tell you guys where I was." Daiki lied the last statement. Truth is, he doesn't even remember about his phone till then.
"Well, at least you're fine. " Inoo said. Then everyone went back to what they were doing.
Daiki made way to his room when Yabu tagged along. Before Daiki got in, Yabu leaned closer to his ear and whispered, "You know how I could always tell you you're lying right?"
"H-hontou, Yabu-kun! I reall got stuck in the elevator!"
"and...?"
"and nothing."
"If there's nothing, then why are you blushing?" Daiki, who could feel his cheeks getting warmer turned beet red.
"I'm most definitely not!" Daiki puffed out his cheeks. Showing that he's annoyed. Yabu laughed and smirked.
"I know there's something! Spill the beans, Dai-chan!" Yabu-kun smirked at Daiki mischievously, "or I'll tell everyone that something happened that you wouldn't tell us!"
"Hahahah, Is that a joke? You can't keep any thing from them even if it's a secret!" Daiki managed to run to his room before Yabu pressed the situation any further. Nu uh is he going to spill the beans to anyone. He will never tell anyone not unless he's got to.
An idea formed in Daiki's mind when he was laying on his bed. He's got to skip the party. He have to find that girl.
