The first time I had this in anime was ages ago, for Digimon Zero Two. Everyone, and I mean everyone assumed Taichi/Sora was gonna be canon to the point that nearly every ship, het, yaoi or otherwise wrote around this forgone conclusion. And then, the goddamn epilogue that gave us Yamato and Sora and no TaKari, which fandom is even more salty about honestlyI learned after that debacle that nothing is canon until it's canon

Your reaction is a lot more polite than mine was, lol. But here we are, weeks later, and I'm finding that the anger has already diminished. That makes me sad in a way as well, as there used to be a time when Bleach was such a fixture in my life I felt like I lived and breathed it. I wonder when that stopped being true...
