I'm falling back into the habit of not updating, so have an update before I wait another month to update again. This is a random entry, but random is good, RIGHT?

I'm really enjoying universe_the, it's nice to have a multifandom landcomm with easy challenges, like the polls and games, some fun challenges like trapped princess, where you are free to go crazy

Season 5 is my favorite season too - because I ship Dexter/Lumen hardcore.

Did you spot Sam from True Blood as one of Dexter's first kills?

Also, I just finished the last two Sookie books... they were fine and enjoyable but I have issues. We'll talk after :)

I'm enjoying universe_the too. The challenges are fun :D

Once you're used to it though(it won't take too long)... you're rewarded with amazing stories and interesting characters you can feel for.

Ikr? I think I said before that the first episode are kiiiind of bad but around episode 4 it's getting much better and then episode 5 was the episode where I fell in love with this show.
Party Favors though...Uh,the episode where one my favorite characters dies. So heartbreaking. Little did I know back then that it's actually getting worse ^^

I'm glad that someone else in enjoying universe_the, the diversity of challenges is awesome. :)

I might have to give Spartacus another try, I couldn't get past the first two eps because of all the blood effects. I just couldn't take it seriously.

It really is. I wasn't sure what to expect from this comm, but it's been pretty awesome so far :D

Haha, while watching the pilot I thought that EVERYTHING looked so fake. Backgrounds/skies... everything...
but if you keep hanging in there, it does get better.
Luci Lawless is pretty amazing on the show! :D

Season 8 of Dexter is good so far! Season 4 is one of my favorite seasons just because John Lithgow was so great. I liked season 5 and Lumen quite a bit too. I hated season six and and felt 'meh' about season 7 (they really wasted Ray Stevenson).

The blood and slow-mo on Spartacus are terrible at first but they definitely did tone it down and the story/characters become so good that the cheesiness doesn't matter so much (and I kind of came to like the aesthetic/stylization, tbh). Glad you're enjoying the show (Party Favors was good but brutal)!

John Lithgow was amazing :D I was spoiled for Rita, so I think that took some of the excitement out of it. It just made you realize how dumb Dexter is acting around him.
I knew Julia Stiles would be in one season, but I always thought she'd be like his nemesis. It was a nice surprise to see that she wasn't *lol*
and agreed about S6 and S7 :(

I kind of came to like the aesthetic/stylization, tbh).

Yeah, me too.
It can be such a beautiful show!!! But at the same time, sometimes it's pretty gross *lol*
