Agree about the voiceover - it's a device that rarely works - although I did like the concept of all of the characters having some kind of a trial.
Shawn Ashmore brings an interesting chemistry to the group; it looks like his character's really clicking with all the others in different ways. And yeah, best way to come out to your new co-workers ever.
I adored woobie!Pete and his abandonment issues. It might not have been a memorable plot, but it's a neat way of sidestepping the typical pseudo-psychoanalysis TV likes to get into.
Woobie!Pete wasn't so bad, I suppose. Him actually regressing to childhood made a change from just acting like a child. ;) It was definitely better than lots of ways they could've brought the abandonment issues up.
