Paper yay!

Hurrah! I got a response from my prof about my planned paper topic. I can go ahead and write it. She agreed that the section I had planned on dance in 30s movie musicals might be a stretch, and that the material might work better as a gesture in the conclusion, but said to give it a shot anyway(!!!). This post got me thinking, is there a ballroom club at UT? Do you ever actually get to dance anymore?

I wish there were! There's a swing dance club in town that I kept meaning to check out, but most semesters the lessons and dances were on nights I had class or had to get up really early the next day (or I was just too busy to breathe), so I've never been.

Once I figure out where I'm going to move to/get a job, I want to seek out some kind of dancing opportunity.
