What's with the "Copyright © 1999 LiveJournal, Inc. All rights reserved." text at the bottom of every entry? Does anyone know what that's about?

I would assume it's because LJ as been around since 1999? LOL. I think most blogging sites/social media sites have a copyright disclaimer on their page...

The copyright date makes sense to me. I remember getting an account in 1999 :)

It's not on my entries.... I think it's saying they own the site/layout because I have a custom layout without it.
