That said, this was lovely. I loved her tone as she spoke about Richard, and the remnant fondness there, and I loved Bill's reaction to it all. *nods* And of course he would have asked Billy. XD I just wonder how red the poor boy's face got when it happened.

I kind of love the idea of Bill data-mining Billy back in the day, much like Billy was data-mining Dualla (so to speak).

Yeah, still amazing. This line gets me every time:

“He didn’t ask me. He told me.”

I like how they're playing but they're not, and even though they're walking a fine line, it always feels more exciting than dangerous. It also makes me so happy to see Laura reminiscing fondly about Adar because I want to believe that there was something about him worth liking and she wasn't an idiot when it came to men.

Yes--every time someone paints a portrait of Laura being treated badly from the start by Richard, a part of me withers up and dies. Because it's like... I can't see her as being a willing party to an abusive relationship. BUT, good relationships do fall apart for any number of reasons. And you can still miss what you had.

So, yes.

Sigh, authority kink can do no wrong.

when i first thought about this scenario in my head, it was laura who accidentally it blurted out about adar BUT I LIKE YOUR IDEA SO MUCH BETTER.

playful/teasing laura is the best laura. and there's something extremely hot about bill taking control of laura...under her command.

There's some allure to the idea of Laura blurting it out. I can envision a lot of situations in which that would cause some tension (delicious) and would take some sex to resolve, of course (also delicious).

RE: the ruler, well yeah. I have to have some of that teacher kink in there. (in an earlier draft, it was a whip... but I think I like ruler better) I'm a big fan of them being playful and mature about past relationships.

If this is PWP, then there needs to be way, way more!

This was amazing. Wonderfully playful and sexy and mature. We saw only the very end of the relationship with Adar; there had to be better times and it's fun to recall them with Laura here (and see their affect on Bill :D).

What I loved most, though, was this:

She didn’t have to think twice about it, and the usual gut-wrench that came along with being so honest about something so deeply personal didn’t occur.

This is something she has only with Bill, and I love that for her so much.
