If I wasn't so busy and stressed IRL and busy doing bsg_kink bingo, I would be writing Erik Lehnsherr/Charles Xavier slash fic.

I don't care who knows it. I'm not ashamed!!

X-Men: First Class.

WTF, SELF.

WTF, VID. BAHAHA BUT ALSO NOT.

vid has spoilers for X-Men: First Class, obviously

I have no idea what you're talking about, but I'm happy you're excited about writing something--even if you don't have time for it.

And what is this Deadwood fic that's being talked about???

I talk the talk but don't often walk the walk! Or write the write!

We'll see what the weekend brings. :)

Erik/Charles is ALL OVER MY FLIST... which is frustrating me to no end because I have yet to see the movie! I really loved the first two (X2 is still the best, imo), pretended to love the third (though looking back I think WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING) and only stomached about five minutes of Wolverine.

I will see this before Sunday, I will see this before Sunday, I will see this before Sunday! :)

Re: first three movies - totally agree. As for Wolverine, the opening sequence remains my favorite part of that movie... >>" So that accounts for... five minutes? LOL

You must, you must, you must!

Perhaps you feel the way I feel about River Song, Dr. Who and Sanctuary lately. That is where they have all gone.

Oh dear... You're completely not alone, and this is coming from an X-Men fangirl who had a good chuckle over how this movie (all of them really, but this one in particular) tossed comic canon into the flames and danced happily over the ashes. XD

Still, I loved this movie. (And a good chunk of comic-world is alternate universe anyway.) :) It is very good, and I've known of Xavier/Lensherr shippers since the first movie/comic books. I've read fics... where they co-parent the X-kids. It is QUITE adorable. If super angsty... but adorable.

I heard that it totally obliterated canon! But reboots are allowed to do that, right? (I don't get reboots. If I were a hardcore fan they'd piss me off)

It was really good. And wow, co-parenting fics!! As long as the parents get some alone time I'm cool. ;)

I am probably just as attracted to them for the pretty as I am for the angsty. This all seems very familiar.

Oh dear - it did. It completely did. Never mind the fact that there IS a branch of the comic books focused on the original five X-men called First Class (I believe it recently ended), but the original five were supposed to be Hank McCoy (Beast), Warren Worthington III (Angel - who is introduced in the third movie instead), Bobby I-always-forget-his-last-name (Iceman), Scott Summers (Cyclops), and my favorite, Jean Grey. :) (Ladeedadeeda! Redhead love? What redhead love? XD) Wolverine and Storm came into the X-men much later in canon after these original five disappeared for a time on an island and were thought to be dead. LOL ( ... )
