It is a really good movie. I liked the first two X-Men but didn't see any of the others.

I think the hott of the two leads helps tons. ;)

Yeah, I loved the first two movies, but the third was disappointing ... and the Wolverine movie, terrible. I'm excited that this one is getting such great reviews!

If I had an X-Men otp, they'd be it. But, strange bird that I am, I prefer the Patrick Stewart/Ian McKellan version (just ... not for visualizing. I have limits). They're the ones who made me ship it to begin with. I remember saying to John during one of the first two movies: "Picard is eyefucking Gandalf. I'm pretty sure that's a nerd hat trick."

Yeah, you're totally going to write this. I know you are.

The song is so cheesy isn't it?? I saw the link to it and I was like, "There's no way they mean *that* song." And it was *that* song. lol.

I find it a playful juxtaposition of the lightness of love and the emotional trainwrecks that are each of these characters.

I feel like I need to watch the first two again.

I did start a fic Saturday before I got busy.

Glad to know I'm not insane. I had noticed a lot of fic about them on the X-Men fic comm *cough* that I don't follow *cough* but it is good to know some of you feel the same way.
