When Bucky woke up, he found Wade on the other side of the bed again. This was not a surprise, nor was it an insult. The fact that Wade had held him in the first place meant more than the fact that they had drifted apart sometime in the night ( Read more... )

He didn't wake up to Bucky leaving bed. A part of him was aware of it, maybe, but he didn't so much as open an eye. The door slamming closed behind him, however, because the other man couldn't catch the door quite in time, did wake him up. In fact, he sat straight up.

With Bucky out of the room, though, Wade felt a little safer getting up and showering. Gluing on his prostheses so he felt less exposed without having to put on a shirt. It was easier that way.

And he was happy to alleviate him of a plate and cup just to help. Also because it was probably for him, but hush.

"Morning. Sleep well?"

"Sure did." He was almost disappointed to see Wade wearing his fake face, but he wasn't about to say anything. He hadn't slept super well, either; he'd been unable to fall into a good, deep sleep until he had Wade's arm around him. But he wasn't about to say anything about that, either. Bucky sat at the table. "I didn't know what you'd like, so I got you a bit of everything," he admitted with a sheepish smile. "Everything" included a lot. Waffles with a couple packs of butter and syrup. Sausages. Sliced melon. A cinnamon roll and croissant. About the only things he hadn't heaped onto the plate were the cold cereal and yogurt offered there.

"Fortunately, I will eat just about anything, so I'll eat everything." See, when you don't know when you'll get paid next, you learn an appreciation for all food. He'd still avoid some things, but as a general rule, if it was edible, it was consumed. Usually.

Sitting across from Bucky was easy. Looking at him, less so. He made himself do it, though, and with a small smile on his face, too. "Smells good. Looks good. Thanks for getting it."

Down goes the orange juice, if only so that he could get up and retrieve coffee. It was a full-sized pot, not that tiny thing that some hotels have. It was wonderful. He was also nice enough to pour some for Bucky. Look at him being Domestic and Sweet.

"No problem." He smiled his own thanks when Wade poured him some coffee. There was something odd about this domesticity when the awkwardness of the night before still hung over them. To keep from having to say anything, Bucky started on his food.

Wade lay forward, resting his forehead against Bucky's shoulder while he gasped for air. "Jus'...lemme stay like this for a minute?" Just long enough for him to catch his breath and come back from the edge a little bit. Enough for him to wrap himself in that warmth and use it to drive him forward again.

"Take as long as you need, baby." Despite his saying this, Bucky was eager for more, and hoped Wade wouldn't take too long. His hands stroked the man's back as Wade lay there.

It didn't take long for Wade to push himself up and start moving again with slow but powerful thrusts, gasping a little bit as he looked down at Bucky.

"Yer fuckin' sexy, babe. Y'know that?"

That sent a shiver running through him and he bit his lip. He knew he was an attractive guy, even if he didn't always feel it. But it always sent a thrill through him to have somebody tell him.

"Fuckin'- c'mere, you," he growled, pulling Wade down into a kiss.

Of course he could still drink. Duh. "You make the simple act of drinking sound like an erotic experience, Bucks." Mm, he could enjoy it a little more if that's how it'd be.

He shrugged. "Just tryin' to offer a different perspective. There's a good side and a bad side to everything. It's your choice which you wanna see."

"I don't mind seeing the good side, man. I just didn't actually realize there was a good side to not being able to get drunk."

He smiled. "Okay, so not being able to get drunk sucks, but at least you can still enjoy the alcohol, right?"
