Well if it makes you feel better Patrick, I get it and I dig it and I'm out there for you, not because you were in FOB.

I tried to look at it like, 'okay, so you've done FOB, that's cool and I really enjoy that whole segment of your career. Let's just sit that over here and see what you've got up your shiny new shirt sleeves.'
Even if I was totally new to Patrick Stump: Musician & Wearer of Spaceboots, Crazy Layered Shirts, The Tuxcape and Spiffy Bowties, I'd love this album and I know I would still have spent the entire day with the album on repeat, dancing super hard and without shame.

If you're lurking, good sir, know this statement is nothing but the truth and accept it because we've been saying for months and we will continue to say it.
You're really that good.

You know what they say. Haters gunna hate.

But truth is I'm glad he's doing what he's doing. I'm glad he's making the music he wants. I'm glad Pete is doing the music he wants. I'm glad Andy and Joe are metaling it up in TDT. I think all any of us ever wanted was for them to do what makes them happy. Because trust us when you guys aren't happy we can tell and it hurts us just as much as it hurts them.

I absolutely love Soul Punk. It's just perfect. The arrangement of it is perfect, the instruments on it are perfect, the vocals are perfect, the production is perfect. If people don't listen to this thing and just fall in love with Patrick as a solo artist they have no soul.
