“Can I ask you something?” he asked when he caught up with the military leader of Atlantis.
John sighed. “What is it, Rodney?”
The scientist took a deep breath “Well, since you are kind of a lady’s man, I figured you’d know what would please a woman - as a Christmas present I mean” he blurted out.
John smirked. “Don’t know what to get Dr. Brown?”
“Who said anything about a present for Kat... Dr. Brown.?” Rodney crossed his arms over his chest.
“Nobody. But I figured since you asked and the two of you have been dating...”
Rodney didn’t like the direction this conversation took. It made him even more uncomfortable. “Do you have an idea or not?” he interrupted John.
“Just get her something personal, Rodney.”
Rodney looked at him dumbfounded. “Something personal?”
“Yeah, woman like that.” With that Sheppard strolled off leaving a confused Rodney behind who was none the wiser than before.
